Day 302

The Parade of Lost Souls

Study, study, study, that is all that I must do before my midterm on monday but not everything actually goes the way you want it too x_x

Early in the afternoon I went down to the Central Library to do some studying with a friend from my OB class.We did get some studying done -and I got some old work done too- but because we came to the library a bit later then we had planned, we didn't stay there as long as we wanted too. We had both been planning on going to the Parade of Lost Souls event happening later in the afternoon but my friend got tired so I went on ahead to meet the others that were going instead.

The funny thing is that I went home and charged my phone for about 20 minutes, my battery went from 50% to 75% in that time. I'm starting to believe that that saved my phone at the end of the night xD Anyway..

After we parted (and I went home for a bit, look above^), I went and met up with the friends of mine who were going to the Parade of Lost Souls. I got some nice pictures before the sun went all the way down but because I don't have a flash, after sunset I wasn't really able to take any good pictures in the dark. I really need to get a flash soon so that I can take pictures in any situation :/ Still though, I had a really nice time and I even met some new people too!

We all went for dinner at a place known as Belgian Fries. The place was pretty nice and most of us got different types of poutine (I got poutine that had BACON on it [link]) which everyone agreed were really good! I want to go back to try something else and maybe bring someone who hasn't been there along as well

The best part of the night was all of the talking that everyone was doing while we ate!! Even the short moments of silence seemed so natural as everyone caught their breathe to continue. It was so so nice and my lungs actually felt sore from laughing so much xD *Sigh* I really hope that this group can get together again for other events :') Although facebook may carry over that energy too lol

And over the course of the day I had encountered three people I knew as well, it was surprising

Tomorrow is going to be the "no-fun" day. Need to study and finish off some work in prep for monday's midterm; wish me luck!
